Conduct an awareness campaign related to safe digital practices and reporting cybercrime through legal means.
This SLO develops awareness about staying safe in the digital world. Students should understand safe online practices, recognise cybercrimes and know how to report them through proper legal channels. The purpose is to encourage responsible digital behaviour and create safer online communities.
SLO Content
An awareness campaign educates people about safe digital practices and responsible online behaviour. Safe digital practices include creating strong passwords, protecting personal information, avoiding suspicious links, verifying online information before sharing it, respecting others online and using social media responsibly. Cybercrime includes activities such as hacking, identity theft, cyberbullying, online fraud and spreading harmful digital content. Citizens should report cybercrimes through legal authorities such as the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing or other authorised government platforms instead of responding illegally. Awareness campaigns may use posters, presentations, social media posts, seminars, videos or school activities to educate people about online safety and responsible digital citizenship.
